About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Active Care Group. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients with spinal cord injuries, neurological conditions, and acquired brain injuries to live independently in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care, including washing, dressing, and toileting, to our clients with spinal cord injuries.
  • Support clients with neurological conditions and acquired brain injuries with daily living tasks, such as cooking, cleaning, and managing medication.
  • Assist clients with mobility and transfer needs, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Engage in social activities with clients, promoting their independence and quality of life.

Requirements:

  • Kind and caring nature, with a strong commitment to providing high-quality care.
  • Flexibility and reliability, with the ability to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Full UK driving license, with the ability to drive clients to appointments and activities.
  • Enhanced DBS clearance, with the ability to work with vulnerable adults.
