Job Title: Fabric Maintenance Engineer

Integral UK is seeking a skilled Fabric Maintenance Engineer to join our team. As a Fabric Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance tasks in accordance with company PPM and task schedules.
  • Undertake PPM activity in a quality, professional manner.
  • Produce technical and situational reports as required.
  • Proactively use technology systems to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Communicate effectively with the team and clients.
  • Provide first-line out-of-hours call-out support for the site.
  • Write accurate and timely activity reports.
  • Assist the management team in producing quotations by providing accurate information.
  • Attend team meetings and briefings as requested.
  • Provide accurate time sheet information weekly and on time.
  • Ensure the company is presented in a good light.
  • Undertake reactive maintenance works as directed by the Help Desk and/or management team.
  • Escalate major site issues or incidents to the line manager as soon as possible.
  • Manage sub-contractors while working on site.
  • Understand and be aware of relevant Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality legislation.
  • Ensure materials and equipment are handled, stored, and used with due regard to relevant legislation.
  • Participate in health and safety processes, including accident investigation, reporting, risk assessments, and auditing.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
  • Fabric Engineer apprenticeship or Carpentry & Joinery qualifications.
  • Proven post-apprenticeship practical experience.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to providing a high-quality service to customers.
  • Ability to work flexibly and as a team member.
  • Ability to work overtime as required.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to deal with all levels of staff.
  • Proactive in achieving the highest standard of operation.
  • Good IT and report writing skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure while remaining calm and clear-thinking.
