We are seeking a skilled Fabric Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Integral UK. As a Fabric Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.
  • Perform general carpentry, fire door maintenance and repair, weekly fire alarm testing, and other maintenance tasks as required.
  • Conduct AHU cleaning and servicing, basic plumbing and drainage repairs, patch repairs to wall and floor tiling, carpets, lino, and screeds, suspended ceiling repairs, shelving/racking, lock changes/repairs, and painting and decorating.
  • Work hours as part of our site's shift pattern and carry out planned and reactive maintenance in accordance with our company's PPM and task schedules.
  • Undertake PPM activity in a quality, professional manner and produce technical and situational reports as required.
  • Proactively use technology systems to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and carry out works in a professional and proactive manner.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with the rest of the team and clients, provide first-line out-of-hours call-out for the site, and write activity reports in line with company procedures.
  • Assist the management team in producing quotations by providing accurate and good-quality information where extra works are identified.
  • Attend team meetings/briefings as requested and provide accurate time-sheet information weekly and on time.
  • Ensure the company is always presented in a good light and undertake reactive maintenance works as directed by the Help Desk and/or management team.
  • Escalate any major site issues or incidents to your line manager as soon as possible and manage Integral sub-contractors while working on site.
  • Understand and be aware of the requirements of all relevant Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality legislation and ensure that all materials and equipment are handled, stored, and used with due regard to the relevant Health, Safety, and Environmental legislation.
  • Actively participate in health and safety processes required under the company policies and procedures, including accident investigation, reporting, risk assessments, and auditing.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

  • Fabric Engineering apprenticeship or similar.
  • C&G Pts. 1 & 2, equivalent or exceeds.
  • Proven post-apprenticeship practical experience.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to providing a high-quality service to our customers.
  • Ability to work flexibly and as a team member.
  • Ability to work overtime as required.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to deal with all levels of staff.
  • Proactive in achieving the highest standard of operation.
  • Good IT and report-writing skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure while remaining calm, clear-thinking, and able to deliver the required services to the client within given time constraints.
