Colibrium Additive, a leading provider of innovative metal additive manufacturing solutions, is seeking an experienced Product/UX Designer to join its Software organization. The successful candidate will contribute to the development of user-centered design solutions that drive business growth and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct qualitative UX research activities, such as ethnographic studies and usability testing, to inform design decisions
  • Develop and communicate UX research findings to stakeholders, including design recommendations and solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate UX research into the product development lifecycle
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging design, technology, and industry trends to inform design solutions
  • Report to the Sr Director of Software Experience Design

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 8+ years of experience conducting UX research and creating UX research artifacts
  • 5+ years of experience planning UX research activities and communicating UX research findings to stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with metal additive manufacturing or related digital manufacturing technologies
  • College degree or professional certification in Human Factors, Ergonomics, Industrial Engineering, or related field
  • Deep knowledge of UX research methods and supporting tools
  • Mature active listening skills and ability to diffuse tense collaboration situations
