Job Title: Support Practitioner

Job Summary: We are seeking a Support Practitioner to join our team in South Ayrshire. As a Support Practitioner, you will work with individuals who have a wide range of support needs, providing them with practical and emotional support and encouraging them to achieve their own personal outcomes in all aspects of their daily lives.

About the Role:

  • Provide individualised support to adults with a wide range of needs, either on an individual 1:1 basis or alongside others and as part of a team.
  • Support individuals to become active members of their community through accessing local resources, building on skills, maintaining and developing friendships, employment opportunities and working towards agreed outcomes.
  • Work with individuals to achieve their own personal outcomes in all aspects of their daily lives, including keeping safe, meaningful activities, community involvement, physical health, relationships, emotional health and wellbeing.

About Us: Turning Point Scotland is a national social care charity providing services to people with addictions, learning disabilities, mental health issues, those in the criminal justice system and those who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. We have been successfully supporting adults in South Ayrshire since.

Requirements:

  • No previous working experience is needed.
  • IT skills are required for all our vacancies.
  • Where applicable, successful candidates will be required to register with the SSSC within 6 months of start date.
