About the Role
The mental health directorate encompasses a variety of clinical teams, professions, and specialties, all dedicated to the continuous enhancement of clinical services for the benefit of both service users and staff.
Position Overview
This role in quality enhancement and performance will be pivotal, receiving comprehensive backing from the mental health management team to implement quality improvement principles across diverse teams. The existing work environment is recognized for its capacity for sustainable transformation. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with service leaders and a broad spectrum of stakeholders to achieve shared objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate with a significant degree of independence while being empowered to make decisions and recommendations aimed at enhancing patient outcomes, staff satisfaction, and the achievement of strategic goals.
- Deliver a quality improvement agenda that aligns with the principles of sound financial governance and sustainability.
- Play a crucial role in executing various financial savings and productivity enhancement initiatives within the mental health directorate.
- Develop a performance framework and reporting structure that aligns with performance metrics and national standards, including the mental health national strategy and core standards for adult mental health.
Team Environment
The successful candidate will join a well-established and highly motivated management team, with direct line management provided by the mental health general manager. While there is office space available, alternative arrangements can be discussed. Hybrid working arrangements are possible, although exclusive remote work is not feasible due to the necessity of close collaboration with clinical leads.
