Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will contribute to the improvement of overall quality of care in general dental practice, providing clinical advice and support to General Dental Practitioners in Dumfries and Galloway.

As a key member of the Primary Care Development team, the post holder will work closely with the Primary Dental Care Management Team and Dental Performance Support and Governance Group to promote quality improvement initiatives.

The role will involve providing professional advice and guidance to General Dental Practitioners, supporting them in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of effective quality improvement strategies.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dental practice and a proven track record of improving quality of care. They will be able to work effectively in a supportive and advisory capacity, providing clinical advice and guidance to General Dental Practitioners.

The post holder will be a strong communicator, able to build effective relationships with colleagues and stakeholders, and will have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

They will be able to work independently, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously, and will have a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
