Family Services Mental Health Professional

The Family Services Division of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mental Health Professional to join our team in the Europe North Area Office in High Wycombe. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional clinical services to individuals and groups, develop and maintain positive relationships with church leaders, and contribute to the cause of building the Lord's Kingdom through Christlike Service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality consultation and develop and maintain positive relationships with church leaders.
  • Provide exceptional clinical services for individuals and group therapy sessions with great attention to quality and timely notes, consultations, and terminations.
  • Provide expertise and exceptional clinical services in responding to emergency, abuse, and addiction situations.
  • Protect and ensure client confidentiality for self and agency, fully committed to data security, privacy practices, and organization priorities.
  • Develop relationships with industry professionals and network with community resources as referral sources.
  • Supervise, train, and develop Family Services programs and area initiatives.
  • Ensure agency legal, ethical, and policy compliance.
  • Manage local agency budget and resources.
  • Develop and fulfill 'Area Service Plan', including coordinating travel to outlying areas and overnight as needed, evening, weekend, and holiday work.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree and master's degree are required, either in clinical psychology, clinical social work, or related degree that leads to clinical licensure.
  • Holder of and ability to maintain current independent clinical licensure in accordance with local professional licensing board.
  • Post-master's clinical counselling experience.
  • Ability to provide clinical supervision and mentoring.
  • Expertise and experience providing training in group settings.
  • Possesses a powerful intellectual curiosity that fuels a drive for advancing professional development with current modalities that align with organizational values.
  • Native or C-1 English level is required; other language competence could be considered an advantage.
