Role:
Simulator Operator (Active SC Clearance Required)
Key Responsibilities:
Operate the Submarine Command Team Trainer (SCTT) simulation desk, ensuring training scenarios are up-to-date and correctly loaded.
Assist with checks and preparation before training sessions, reporting defects and anomalies to training and maintenance staff.
Input training scenarios and ship manoeuvres as directed, manipulating scenario contacts and role-playing as needed.
Discuss training needs with senior officers and build scenarios, providing a comprehensive training experience.
Administrative Responsibilities:
Enter data and manage records in the on-site performance system, managing training scenarios and game settings.
Order and manage stationery supplies, administering shared computer files on SharePoint.
Act as Pathfinder Bridge Navigation Trainer Facilitator, coordinating mandatory training and performing administrative tasks for the section and FOST organization.
Improve personal skills and effectiveness, contributing to the success of J & C Associates Ltd.
Requirements:
Administrative experience with a good knowledge of and experience in using Windows-based operating systems.
Good communication skills, both oral and written, with a strong focus on teamwork and collaboration.
Five GCSEs at Grade C or above or equivalent, including English Language or equivalent, and NVQ Business Administration Level 2 or suitable clerical experience.
Training and Development:
Training will be provided for the successful candidate, including operating the simulation desk during training debriefings, operating the Bridge Navigation Trainer (Pathfinder) simulation desk, and conducting minor fixes and escalating unresolved issues to IT support.
Working Environment:
The successful candidate will work in a dynamic and supportive environment, contributing to the success of J & C Associates Ltd and providing a comprehensive training experience for clients.
