About the Job

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at a modern Nursing Home in Shoreham by Sea. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care to residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver direct patient care, including administering medications, wound care, and other nursing procedures
  • Develop and implement individualised care plans
  • Monitor and assess residents' health status and progress
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
  • Provide support and guidance to care assistants and other team members
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and best practices
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
Requirements
  • Valid NMC registration as a Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN)
  • Proven experience in a Nursing Home/Care Home or similar healthcare setting
  • Excellent clinical and organisational skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach to care
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Clear DBS Check
