We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Ballington House, a 13-bedded mental health rehabilitation hospital in Leek, Staffordshire. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with complex mental health needs.

About the Role

As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing individualized support and care to service users, promoting their independence, and empowering them to achieve their goals. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including consultants, clinical psychologists, occupational therapists, nurses, and other support workers, to provide a comprehensive and holistic approach to care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individualized support and care to service users, including daily living tasks, community involvement, and promoting independence.
  • Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Support service users in achieving their goals and promoting their well-being.
  • Contribute to a safe and supportive environment, ensuring the physical and emotional needs of service users are met.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £23,693 - £24,376, a welcome bonus of £500, and the equivalent of 33 days annual leave, plus your birthday off.
