Job Outline

A senior-level role is available within the growing finance team. This role has responsibility for the financial reporting of two manufacturing sites, including statutory accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Assist in completion of monthly financial statement close.
  2. Prepare and record standard and non-routine journal entries and ensure the accuracy of information through monthly analysis and reconciliation. Determine adjustments required and prepare journal entries for related account activity.
  3. Record intercompany transactions and confirmation with other assets.
  4. Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
  5. Assist with preparation of monthly US reporting requirements such as completion of monthly reporting checklists and fluctuations analyses.
  6. Process cash entries not related to accounts payable disbursement.
  7. Prepare and maintain fixed assets, expense accruals and prepaid schedules.
  8. Assist Accounting Manager in the completion of annual statutory financial statement and tax audits.
  9. Perform other duties as required to support the Accounting Manager and other Business Departments.

Personal Specification

  1. Part qualified – qualified ACCA/CIMA.
  2. 3 years' experience in general ledger accounting.
  3. Proficient with MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook.
  4. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and work closely with and as part of the accounting team.
