Our commitment to providing excellent care and services to clients and children has driven our successful growth. To maintain this pace, we are seeking an experienced Cook Supervisor to join our team.

The Role:

As the Cook Supervisor, you will assist with the operational and financial management of your school's catering facility, focusing on delivering high-quality food and service while showcasing your flair and originality. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Leading, developing, coaching, training, and motivating the kitchen team
  2. Assisting with catering operations, including stock, food, and labor costs
  3. Ensuring consistency of food and service standards for students and staff
  4. Driving sales through monthly promotions and added-value events
  5. Overseeing menu development
  6. Maintaining company systems and procedures, as well as legislation
  7. Conducting regular audits to ensure standards are met


About You:

We seek someone who shares our passion for delivering exceptional food and service to our schools, with the following skills and experience:

  1. Craft-based experience using fresh ingredients
  2. Knowledge of health and safety practices
  3. Basic financial understanding of gross profit management and achieving sales targets
  4. Experience in a similar environment

We offer fantastic hours, working Monday to Friday during school term time, allowing for more time with friends and family. This role is:

  1. 17.5 hours per week, with no late nights
  2. Working 38 weeks per year, based around term time
  3. £13.50 per hour
