Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Health, Safety, and Environmental Advisor to join our team at Marmion. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving a culture of safety and compliance across our manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and Implement Safety Programs
    • Design and implement safety programs to prevent accidents and injuries
    • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement
  • Conduct Risk Assessments
    • Identify potential hazards and risks in the workplace
    • Develop and implement controls to mitigate risks
  • Provide Training and Support
    • Develop and deliver training programs to employees on safety procedures and protocols
    • Provide guidance and support to employees on safety-related matters
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams
    • Work with production, maintenance, and other teams to ensure safety protocols are followed
    • Collaborate with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with safety regulations

Requirements

  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety, or a related field
  • Experience
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in a safety or environmental role
    • Experience in FMCG or manufacturing industry preferred
  • Skills
    • Strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to analyze data and identify trends
