Development Manager

The successful Development Manager will oversee the planning and execution of schemes from inception to site commencement.
Key Responsibilities:- Liaise with the Land & Planning Manager at critical stages of the planning submissions.
- Identify, appoint, and manage external design teams to meet project briefs and ensure design programs are achieved.
- Appoint and coordinate relevant testing and reports to facilitate design completion and planning.
- Liaise with stakeholders to ensure timely information exchange.
- Collaborate with the Commercial Team to ensure designs align with project budgets.
- Coordinate planning submissions and condition discharge.
- Research and explore design options to enhance build quality and identify value engineering opportunities.
- Adhere to Integrated Management System (IMS) requirements, procedures, and policies.
- Utilize design and project management software.
- Understand the planning process, Section Agreements, and their timelines.
- Familiarity with key design principles, including fire and acoustic requirements.
- Knowledge of current building regulations, SAP calculations, and their impact on design.
