We are seeking a highly skilled Reinsurance Technician to join our team at The Recruiter Specialists Group Ltd.
Your Role:
- Review and analyze claims data to facilitate the preparation of reinsurance recoveries, with a focus on excess of loss covers.
- Respond to queries from brokers and reinsurers regarding claims recoveries, providing timely and accurate information.
- Liaise with claims departments to obtain loss reports for reinsurance recoveries, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
- Calculate potential reinsurance implications for extended claims, utilizing strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Enter reinsurance policies into internal systems, ensuring timely payment of premiums and maintaining accurate records.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including reinsurers, brokers, underwriters, and claims teams, to drive business growth and success.
- Support the credit control team in ensuring timely receipt of recoveries, contributing to the company's financial stability and growth.
- Perform peer review for tasks completed by offshore reinsurance teams, promoting quality and consistency across the organization.
- Capture cover note information on internal systems, ensuring that all relevant details are accurately documented.
- Maintain high standards of service, continually seeking opportunities to improve and enhance the customer experience.
- Determine work priorities and activities in line with agreed plans, ensuring the achievement of personal and team objectives.
About You:
- High level of numeracy and literacy, with proven organizational and analytical skills.
- Ability to prioritize work to key performance indicators (KPIs).
