Role Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the full end-to-end UX process, from research and ideation to prototyping, testing, and implementation. This is a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge platforms to solve problems of scale and speed, and to make a meaningful impact on our customers' lives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to gather insights, understand user needs, and define design strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Establish and maintain a comprehensive design system that encompasses UX and UI standards, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and scalability across platforms and products.
  • Advocate for user-centred design principles, championing the importance of user research and usability testing in the design process to validate and refine design decisions.
  • Stay informed about the latest industry trends and emerging technologies, identifying opportunities to incorporate cutting-edge innovations into our design processes.

Candidate Requirements

To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Extensive experience in UX/UI design, with a strong track record of leading and delivering successful projects, ideally within the financial or banking sector.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Axure or Sketch along with prototyping tools to efficiently execute design processes.
  • Strong leadership qualities with a collaborative mindset, capable of inspiring and guiding a team of designers to reach their full potential.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, enabling you to effectively convey design concepts and decisions to stakeholders and senior management.
