Due to the remarkable success of their offerings and ongoing expansion, they are seeking to enhance their Physical Commodities Team with a skilled Business Consultant. The organization has secured several new business opportunities that necessitate the expertise of seasoned consultants to initiate project activities.

Role Overview:

  • Collaborate closely with the Physical Commodities Delivery Team, engaging directly with clients to facilitate the delivery process. You will be tasked with gathering client requirements and drafting functional specifications that align with their needs.
  • Conduct workshops with clients to ensure comprehensive understanding of the systems and their functionalities.
  • Our client serves prestigious organizations across Europe and Asia, delivering solutions to some of the most influential trading firms globally.

Candidate Profile:

  • The ideal candidate will possess a background in Physical Commodities, either from a business perspective or as a business analyst.
  • Strong proficiency in engaging with traders is essential, along with a thorough understanding of the complete lifecycle of an oil trade.
  • Exceptional communication skills are required to accurately capture the needs of traders.
  • A comprehensive understanding of front office operations and risk management is necessary.
  • As an expert in physical oil, a detailed knowledge of logistics and shipping processes is expected.
