Overview:
We are seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to join our team at Purely Recruitment Solutions. This role is essential for managing stock levels and ensuring efficient procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze demand forecasts for assigned product categories and monitor stock levels consistently.
  • Research and identify optimal products and suppliers based on value, delivery timelines, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to coordinate stock supply timelines and manage order placements.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing suppliers, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Work alongside the Accounts department to guarantee timely and accurate processing of supplier invoices.
  • Maintain up-to-date supplier and transport contract documentation for future reference.
  • Coordinate with warehouse operations to conduct regular stock audits.
  • Ensure that quality standards are upheld in collaboration with warehouse teams.
  • Assist management with administrative tasks and other duties as required.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in a Purchasing or Stock Control role.
  • Proficient in using Sage or similar software, along with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook and Excel.
  • Familiarity with computerized systems related to barcode scanning.
  • Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail is crucial.
