Job Title: Emergency Care Nurse/Paramedic

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Care Nurse/Paramedic to join our team at Appoint Healthcare. As an Emergency Care Nurse/Paramedic, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency setting.

About the Role:
  • Assess, manage, and treat patients with a range of illnesses and injuries
  • Provide treatment to patients with a variety of conditions, including minor injuries and undifferentiated health problems
  • Prescribe medication as an independent non-medical prescriber or using PGDs
  • Communicate complex and sensitive information to patients, carers, and other staff
  • Lead, motivate, and support team members in the facilitation of professional and clinical development
About the Team:

Our team is passionate about providing high-quality patient care, and we are looking for a like-minded Emergency Care Nurse/Paramedic to join us on a permanent basis.

Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse and valid NMC pin or Paramedic with HCPC registration, with no restrictions
  • Full eligibility to live and work in the UK
  • Evidence of continuing professional education and training at Masters level or completed level 7 module in advanced practice
  • At least 2 years UK experience in a similar setting (emergency care, autonomously within a GP surgery)
  • Independent Prescriber (or on a pathway to complete)
  • Experience of caring for patients aged 2 and above
  • Paediatric Nurse Practitioner qualification desirable
  • Competent in physical examination of patients of all ages
