Position Overview
This role presents a unique opportunity to engage in part-time work within the outpatient environment of a Rheumatology clinic, operating from Monday to Friday, with no weekend or holiday commitments.

You will collaborate with a dedicated team to ensure that our patients receive the highest quality of care, aligned with our Rheumatology/Osteoporosis service delivery objectives.

This position is fixed-term for a duration of 9 months to fulfill service requirements.
Key Responsibilities
We are seeking a qualified registered nurse, Band 5, to join the Rheumatology/Osteoporosis team within Cwm Taf University Health Board.
The successful candidate will be an integral part of the Rheumatology/Osteoporosis team, providing efficient communication, administrative, and clinical support for both services. This includes coverage for the Dexa scan service, clinics, blood monitoring programs, and general clinic responsibilities.
You will be accountable for assessing care needs, developing, implementing, and evaluating care plans for DMARDs, biologics, and advanced therapies.
The post holder will execute all relevant care procedures independently and may be required to instruct and supervise both qualified and unqualified staff.
Building professional relationships with colleagues and other members of the multi-disciplinary team is crucial. You will provide and receive routine information that necessitates tact and persuasive skills, fostering rapport with patients, their families, and caregivers.
The post holder is expected to work autonomously and demonstrate an understanding of the Health Board's core values, embracing the key principles of delivering a quality service.
Welsh language proficiency is desirable for this role; applications from both English and/or Welsh speakers are encouraged.
