Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Radiology Support Technician to become a vital part of our Radiology team.

This role presents an excellent opportunity to deliver high-quality assistance to patients visiting our radiology unit. You will collaborate with Radiographers, Nurses, and Radiologists to ensure that all CT procedures and administrative tasks are executed efficiently.

Your involvement will contribute significantly to the enhancement of our Radiology services.

Strong communication and IT skills are essential, along with the ability to work effectively within a team. You should be capable of working independently while receiving appropriate supervision and support.

Working hours are structured from 8 AM to 8 PM across a 7-day week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage inventory levels of supplies utilized in the department.
  • Oversee linen stock and ensure daily changes in your designated area.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards within the department.
  • Assist in the cleaning and preparation of CT examination rooms and waiting areas.
  • Provide support to all patients within the Radiology unit as needed.
  • Ensure patients are properly prepared for their examinations, offering assistance before and after as required.
  • Input patient data into the relevant systems.
  • Support the entry of examination reports into the Radiology computer system.
  • Treat all patients with compassion and respect at all times.
  • Assist patients with changing as necessary.
