About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Assistant to join our team at Randstad. As a key member of our nursery staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to children aged 3 months to 5 years.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities that promote learning and development.
  • Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Support the implementation of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, promoting a love of learning and curiosity in children.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with best practices in early years education and childcare.
Requirements
  • CACHE Level 2/3 qualification in childcare or equivalent.
  • Experience working with young children, preferably in an early years setting.
  • Good knowledge of the EYFS framework and its application in practice.
  • Enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Eligibility to work in the UK (Sponsorship not available for this role).
