Job Overview

We're seeking an experienced and passionate Catering Operations Manager to oversee all Compass Group UK&I catering and service operations for a major High Street brand. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring our unit and service counters run smoothly and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

As a Catering Operations Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Supervising teams to maintain high standards of food quality and customer service
  • Overseeing the efficiency of all in-unit operations, including inventory management, budget monitoring, and implementing action plans
  • Communicating regularly with your line manager to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and targets
  • Representing Compass Group UK&I and maintaining a positive brand image
  • Identifying opportunities for new service concepts to drive sales and revenue growth
  • Liaising between customers and internal teams to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction
  • Supporting and training teams to ensure everyone can excel in their role
  • Implementing and reviewing Health & Safety standards to ensure compliance across all catering and service teams

Our ideal candidate will:

  • Be passionate about delivering exceptional food and customer service
  • Have a minimum of two years of management experience within a similar sector or industry
  • Have experience managing teams in a similar role
  • Demonstrate strong financial acumen and budgeting skills
  • Have excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Be an ambitious and motivated individual who is always looking to upskill and develop their career
