The RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Change Management Specialist to lead on business readiness and implementation for all technology and business improvement related change within our organization. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering at pace to a diverse workforce and its partners, managing stakeholder relationships, and ensuring successful delivery of change.
Key Responsibilities- Manage all business change from inception through all stages of the delivery lifecycle
- Work closely with business leads/champions to ensure delivery is aligned to business goals & outcomes
- Support and advocate Agile ways of working
- Ensure project deliverables meet business objectives and performance levels
- Be an ambassador for change delivery excellence, assuring quality and ensuring adoption
- Feed into Performance & Improvement team planning, including resource and financial requirements
- Manage P&I PMO function and track programme budget and spend
- Manage the Risk and Opportunity portfolio
- Business Change plan in place, stakeholders approved and regularly communicated
- Business Readiness undertaken for all change & improvement, with adoption occurring within defined timeframes as agreed with Sponsor
- Risks & Opportunity matrix in place, regularly used and communicated to SLT and impacted stakeholders
- Engage stakeholders across the group to deliver high-quality change management and respond to feedback as appropriate
- Proactively champion and lead continuous improvement and innovation as part of BAU, liaising with the wider team to proactively identify and implement improvement opportunities
- High-quality change materials ensuring user adoption within agreed timescales
We are looking for a candidate with excellent interpersonal skills, including:
- Strong written and verbal communication to all levels of an organization
- Effective decision-making, confident to articulate reasoning
- Influencing skills (e.g. stakeholder management, negotiation skills, assertiveness)
- Strong BA skills, ability to use frameworks and prioritize
- Experience of managing multiple projects/programmes of work to successful delivery
- Familiar with digital technology and the impact on business processes
- Experience of using Agile ways of working, tools and techniques
- Confident with the interrogation of data & MI to support recommendations/decision
- Utility Industry experience (esp. Gas)
- Effective Delivery; Programme Planning; Customer: working with operational teams and leaders to ensure the successful delivery of change and improvement, supported with excellent comms, training and support
- Performance & Improvement – working across the wider team to ensure all change lands well across the operation and data is used to inform readiness and adoption
- Liaison with the client to share innovation and change plans and showcase new solutions delivered to Trinity
- Commercial – tracking and managing the budget associated with change delivery
