We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Healthcare Cleaning Specialist. As a key member of our Trust's Deep Clean Team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our hospital sites across South and West Yorkshire.
Key Responsibilities- Perform deep cleaning duties in accordance with National Cleaning Standards and Operational Procedures.
- Assist in the provision and maintenance of a high-quality, customer-responsive service by providing general linen service duties.
- Work collaboratively with the Housekeeping and Domestic Service team to ensure a clean and safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
- Develop and implement effective cleaning schedules and protocols to meet the needs of the service.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in cleaning and hygiene practices.
- BICSc qualification or equivalent experience at Level 2.
- Good knowledge of Health and Safety and COSHH.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues and service users.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with minimal supervision.
- Current driving license and access to a car during working hours (reasonable adjustments will be considered for applicants with disabilities).
You will be working in a fast-paced environment, often without immediate supervision, and will be required to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines. You will be part of a comprehensive domestic cleaning service, working closely with other teams to ensure a high-quality service is delivered.
