About the Role

You will join our team at Elysium Healthcare as a Care Worker, working in a specialist care home with nursing in Barnsley, South Yorkshire. Our care home, Jubilee House, is a registered care service that provides a supportive and inclusive environment for individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and sensory and communication impairments.

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality care and support to individuals with complex needs and behaviors, working alongside a multidisciplinary team to ensure their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Conduct ward rounds, analyze behaviors, and adapt care plans accordingly, updating patient records and providing overall care and support.
  • Assist with personal hygiene and daily living tasks, promoting independence and dignity.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a safe and comfortable environment, responding to challenging behaviors and situations.
