Internal Audit Manager

We are seeking an experienced Internal Audit Manager to join our team at Next plc. As a key member of our Internal Audit function, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity of our Retail, Online, and Global operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and oversee a team of auditors to conduct financial, IT, and operational audits across the UK and internationally.
  • Develop and implement innovative audit methodologies to improve the internal audit function.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Internal Audit to ensure audit tasks are completed to the highest standard, contributing to the company's risk framework and internal controls.
  • Deliver the audit plan and project work, including non-standard audit tasks such as whistleblowing investigations.
Requirements:
  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CMIIA) with proven audit management experience.
  • Excellent analytical and report writing skills, with strong knowledge of audit techniques.
  • Influential and relationship-building skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the business.
