Job Summary

We are seeking a Support Worker to join our team at Parkside, a detached bungalow that provides a warm and welcoming environment for four residents. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting our residents to live fulfilling lives, promoting their independence, and enhancing their overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support residents with daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
  • Encourage and facilitate social interactions, hobbies, and interests that promote mental and physical stimulation.
  • Assist residents with mobility and transfer needs, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in supporting individuals with diverse care needs.

  • Patience, empathy, and compassion when interacting with residents and their families.
  • A strong work ethic, reliability, and honesty in all aspects of your work.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, promoting a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including early, late, and sleep shifts, to meet the needs of our residents.
