Position Overview

Lead ATE Test Engineer

An exciting opportunity awaits for a seasoned ATE Test Engineer to become part of a prominent International Semiconductor Firm, specializing in automotive semiconductor technologies and software solutions tailored for advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), automated driving, user experience enhancements, and electrification initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and document comprehensive testing strategies for new semiconductor devices.
  • Design and troubleshoot testing software and hardware for production and reliability assessments.
  • Analyze and debug new silicon technologies.
  • Deliver high-quality and cost-efficient testing solutions for large-scale production.
  • Supervise testing-related operations (both hardware and software) in collaboration with internal teams and external testing facilities.
  • Execute testing programs, making necessary modifications and deploying them into offsite production environments.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes.
  • Proficient communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Expertise in semiconductor testing methodologies.
  • Experience with digital, mixed-signal, and PMIC devices, along with hands-on experience in VLSI ATE. Familiarity with system-level and RF/SOC is advantageous.
  • Strong programming capabilities in developing and troubleshooting testing programs and hardware-related challenges. Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Perl/Python) and high-level programming languages (e.g., C/C++ or JAVA) is essential.
  • Preferred knowledge of V93000 SOC Tester – Smartest 7 or Smartest 8.
  • Demonstrated experience with testing equipment such as spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and VNAs.
