Job Title: Project Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team at Stolt-Nielsen Limited. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for the engineering and construction of capex projects, providing technical and management support to the Asset Manager, and working closely with the MR&I Engineer, Maintenance Supervisors, and other roles to develop project cost estimates and ensure compliance with environmental and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare project details, scope engineering documents, and cost estimates for the execution of capex projects.
  • Coordinate procurement and contracting of materials and services for projects.
  • Ensure quality, legal, and safety requirements are met during the project lifecycle.
  • Responsible for commissioning and closing of projects, including the completion of as-built files.
  • Lead change processes in case of scope changes.
  • Responsible for safety, quality, progress, and cost control and reporting during the project.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Instrumentation & Automation or a related field.
  • Proven track record in a project engineering position, preferably in the storage tank or related industry.
  • Familiarity with applicable standards and codes relating to bulk liquid storage facilities.
  • Project management experience is preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in terminal or related industry may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
  • Self-motivated and able to 'close the loop' with actions and administrative responsibilities.
  • Fluency in English and local terminal language.
