Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Lettings Officer to join our team at JOB SWITCH LTD. As a Lettings Officer, you will be responsible for managing the letting of garages and parking schemes across the borough.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maximize the letting of over 7000 garages, underground car parks, and other parking schemes.
  • Manage the waiting list and allocate properties in accordance with the lettings policy and procedure.
  • Deliver excellent professional and specialist services to residents in line with the Council's vision, values, resources, strategic, and service priorities.
  • Ensure compliance with legal processes on tenancy management, including the ending and commencing of licences.
  • Collaborate with the Garages Team to find positive solutions to meet customer needs and actively seek alternative ways to solve problems.
  • Provide exceptional customer service in a customer-facing role, ideally in a social housing field or commercial property management.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of legal processes on tenancy management, particularly surrounding the ending and commencing of licences.
  • Experience of letting non-residential units, including garages and barrow stores, and managing parking schemes in both the public and private sectors.
