A vacancy has arisen for a Production Associate - Maintenance Mechanical to join their team based in a dynamic and progressive manufacturing facility.

This is an ideal opportunity for a candidate who would like to continue their career in a challenging and rewarding environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • As part of a skilled team, this role involves working to both planned and reactive maintenance schedules within the plant, repairing and maintaining forging presses, furnaces, machine tools.
  • The successful candidate will join a team responsible for all elements of electrical plant maintenance, including medium voltage distribution systems, equipment breakdowns, trouble shooting, and working with inspection and maintenance programmes to meet statutory requirements.
  • Applicants must be self-motivated and have the ability to manage a varied and demanding workload.
  • You must have a proven track record of fault finding with the ability to read technical drawings.
  • You must also be able to work at heights and in enclosed spaces, as well as having basic IT skills together with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Requirements:

  • Time served HNC in an engineering discipline (Must have trade papers)
