About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Data Analyst and SARs Coordinator to join our forward-thinking and expanding Health & Justice teams in the Surrey prisons. As a key member of the Surrey Prisons Performance and Administration team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and high-quality data is collected and collated for service reports.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with clinical services and support functions to enable high-quality data entry requirements across the system in line with local and national standards.
  • Follow Trust procedures and protocols when inputting data into clinical systems.
  • Liaise with internal teams, such as Clinical Services, Business and Transformation, and Digital Skills, as and when required.
  • Inform line manager as soon as possible of any new data quality issues that become apparent.
  • Carry out audits of patient health records, identifying data quality issues and work with the service administrators and clinicians to support improving processes to avoid recurrence.
  • Assist with training new members of staff when required.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a suite of Data Quality Team reports.
  • Handle all patient identifiable data in a secure and appropriate manner and always apply Information Governance principles.
  • Use the Trust's Business Intelligence solution (Tableau) to source information as required.
  • Act as a Tableau champion, supporting services to get the best possible outcomes from this BI solution.
  • Provide general administrative support as needed by the team.
  • Support with meeting administration as required.
  • Completion of Subject Access Requests.
  • Support with clinical systems user queries.
