Scaffold Design Engineer Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Scaffold Design Engineer to join our dynamic team at Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD. The successful candidate will bring a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in scaffold design or temporary works and a passion for delivering innovative and practical solutions within the construction industry.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct comprehensive site surveys to identify clients' needs and requirements.
  2. Carry out designs using AutoCAD, producing high-quality design drawings and supporting calculations.
  3. Undertake independent design checks to ensure accuracy, safety, and compliance with all relevant standards.
  4. Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to deliver technical solutions and meet project objectives.
  5. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, applying knowledge to improve design and delivery processes.

Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience in scaffold design.
  2. Advanced level use of AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel, with strong knowledge of spreadsheet production and formulae.
  3. Experience working with structural analysis software tools and reading complex structural drawings.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  5. Proactive problem-solving skills, with a commitment to quality and attention to detail.
