An exceptional opportunity has arisen within the Senior Health division for a fixed-term position aimed at enhancing our front door services. We are seeking a motivated and proactive professional to contribute to our esteemed healthcare institution.
Role Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will assume clinical leadership on Marnham Ward, located at St George's Hospital, overseeing a designated group of patients. Responsibilities include:
- Delivering comprehensive geriatric assessments to elderly patients.
- Conducting regular ward rounds and managing patient care alongside a dedicated multidisciplinary team.
- Supervising junior medical staff and ensuring high standards of clinical governance.
- Facilitating safe and timely patient discharges through effective collaboration with internal and external services.
Additional Opportunities:
There will be potential to engage in specialized interests within our Older People's Assessment and Liaison team, focusing on innovative approaches to geriatric care.
