About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Site Manager to join our team at Churchill Retirement Living Ltd. in the South East region. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the development of our residential apartments in Paddock Wood, Kent.

As Assistant Site Manager, you will work closely with the Site Manager to ensure the successful completion of the project, adhering to Company and NHBC standards. Your duties will include managing site operations, coordinating trades and materials, maintaining site presentation, and controlling costs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Site Manager in overseeing the construction cycle, ensuring deadlines are met and quality standards are maintained.
  • Manage site operations, including health and safety, trade coordination, and site presentation.
  • Assist in cost control, ensuring projects are delivered within budget.
  • Collaborate with external suppliers, specialists, and in-house teams to achieve project objectives.
  • Hold a valid UK driver's license and be willing to travel to other sites within the region.
Requirements
  • Relevant site experience in building residential apartments and new homes.
  • Qualified First Aider at Work and holding a CSCS Card.
  • NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Site Management, preferably on the NHBC Site Manager Accreditation programme.
  • Assertive and calm under pressure, with excellent communication and influencing skills.
