Job Summary:
NHS Scotland is committed to providing high-quality laundry services to its patients and staff. As a Laundry Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our laundry facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise a team of Support Workers to provide a quality continual service
- Allocate staff to particular duties within the Laundry, HSDU Folding Area, and Dry Cleaning
- Ensure compliance with NHS Scotland's policies and procedures
- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the laundry facilities
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a healthcare or hospitality setting
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays
