SEN Teaching Assistant Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at an Ofsted-rated 'Good' school in Dudley. This is a highly rewarding role that requires a patient, encouraging, and adaptable individual who can establish trusted relationships with students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with special educational needs in a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
  • Follow EHCPs and other educational plans to cater to individual learning needs.
  • Develop a genuine passion for making a positive impact on the lives of students with Special Educational Needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Utilize proactive and flexible approaches to adapt to various situations and challenges that may arise.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children with additional needs or a strong desire to work with such children.
  • The ability to follow EHCPs or other educational plans designed to cater to individual learning needs.
  • A genuine passion for making a positive impact on the lives of students with Special Educational Needs.
  • The ability to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment, foster the growth and development of every child.
  • Patience, empathy, and understanding to support students' diverse learning requirements.
  • A proactive and flexible approach, capable of adapting to various situations and challenges that may arise.
