  • Provide expertise and insights for continuous improvement initiatives, working closely with integrated production and maintenance teams.
  • Apply lean manufacturing principles to optimize processes and enhance operational layouts.
  • Oversee the execution of process modifications, ensuring all relevant documentation is meticulously updated.
  • Deliver technical guidance during team problem-solving sessions to accurately diagnose root causes and implement corrective measures.
  • Engage in environmental initiatives to uphold and enhance our sustainability standards.

Qualifications and Skills Required

Essential:

  • Proven technical skills in mechanical and electrical automotive engineering, acquired within a manufacturing context.
  • Strong understanding of PLC, electrical control, and mechanical systems.
  • Relevant qualifications such as NVQ/BTEC Level 3 or equivalent experience are preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar maintenance role within a manufacturing environment.
