About the Role

Medsolve is seeking a dedicated and experienced College Tutor to join our team and deliver high-quality educational services to students with autism. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment that enables students to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Curriculum Development and Delivery: Develop and deliver autism-specific educational programs that cater to the individual needs of students, ensuring that the curriculum is differentiated and effective.
  • Individual Learning Plans: Work closely with students to develop and implement Individual Learning Plans, using them to inform planning and ensure that students receive targeted support.
  • Assessment and Evaluation: Regularly assess and evaluate student progress, using data to inform curriculum development and make adjustments as needed.
  • Literacy and Numeracy: Embed Literacy and Numeracy skills throughout the curriculum, ensuring that students develop a strong foundation in these areas.
  • Learner Targets and Progress Reports: Create and monitor learner targets, providing regular progress reports to students, parents, and external bodies as required.
  • Subject Reports and Student Reviews: Write and present subject reports, attending student reviews to discuss progress and set goals.
  • Numeracy Sessions and Student Placement: Deliver high-quality Numeracy sessions, participating in the recruitment and assessment of students, and assisting with arrangements for student placement at work locations.
  • Marketing and Partnerships: Collaborate with partner schools, FE colleges, employers, and outside agencies to promote our services and support student recruitment.
