About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Junior Sous Chef to join our team at a prestigious Michelin-starred restaurant in Somerset. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will have the opportunity to specialize in either the main kitchen or pastry section, working with an exceptional menu and a talented team of chefs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Sous Chef in managing kitchen operations, ensuring health and safety compliance, and maintaining high standards of food quality.
  • Develop and implement new recipes, menus, and cooking techniques to enhance the dining experience.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to achieve exceptional service standards and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Participate in menu planning, inventory management, and supply chain optimization to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior staff members to develop their skills and knowledge.

Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Junior Sous Chef or equivalent role in a Michelin-starred restaurant.
