We are seeking a dedicated and passionate English Teacher to join our team at a well-established SEN school catering to students with Autism and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver high-quality English lessons tailored to the needs of students with Autism and SEMH, promoting inclusive education and student progress.
- Assess, record, and report on student progress, ensuring individual education plans (IEPs) are met, and collaborating with the wider school team to support student achievement.
- Develop and adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students, managing classroom behavior effectively and fostering a positive learning environment.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching English, preferably within an SEN or alternative provision setting.
- A strong understanding of Autism and SEMH and how these impact learning and development.
