Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and manage financial transactions, including income and sales invoices.
  • Verify and maintain accurate ledger codes and ensure consistency in financial records.
  • Bank and receipt income in a timely manner, adhering to established procedures.
  • Assist in reconciling income received with internal system records.
  • Manage debtors within the financial system, responding to queries and following debt recovery processes.
  • Support the finance team with various tasks, including yearend procedures and maintaining filing and tracking systems.
  • Perform general administrative duties as required.

Essential Skills:

  • Standard Grade Level or equivalent education.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Understanding of financial controls and the financial environment.
  • Previous administrative experience.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines and achieve targets.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to adapt to change and prioritize tasks accordingly.
  • Non-discriminatory and fair towards others, valuing diversity.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience working with external and internal contacts at various levels.
  • Experience with Oracle/SEAS or Oracle Cloud financial systems.
  • Ability to understand knowledge limitations and refer decisions to others when necessary.
