In partnership with Deutsche Bank DWS, we are seeking a Senior Fund Controller for an initial contract based in a hybrid working model.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the management and operational aspects of assigned funds, collaborating with key stakeholders.
  • Evaluate processes to ensure compliance with relevant procedures and regulations.
  • Manage global fund reporting operations.
  • Support junior team members in their professional development.
  • Ensure accurate maintenance of financial records and the preparation of quarterly financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
  • Coordinate investor reporting, including NAV preparation and tax reporting.
  • Oversee annual tax compliance for funds and related entities.
  • Plan and deliver fund administration services, ensuring smooth information flow.
  • Manage liquidity, including investor distributions and transaction funding.
  • Monitor compliance with offering documents and investor agreements.
  • Ensure adherence to all regulatory reporting obligations.
  • Maintain communication with auditors and support the audit process.
  • Assist with regulatory reporting requirements, including AIFMD and FATCA.
  • Handle operational, tax, and treasury matters during transactions.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CPA/CIMA) with a minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Experience in the Investment Fund or financial industry.
  • Familiarity with Alternative assets, particularly Debt.
  • Knowledge of the tax, legal, and regulatory environment for Alternative assets.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Degree-educated or equivalent relevant experience.
