Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified Senior Financial Accountant to become a vital part of a prestigious TV and Film agency. This organization is renowned for producing high-quality dramas and is led by award-winning producers.

Key Responsibilities

The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering comprehensive financial accounting services, which include:

  • Managing the month-end closing process and consolidating group financial statements.
  • Conducting balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Overseeing the development and project accounting.
  • Handling VAT reporting.
  • Managing both the purchase and sales ledgers, as well as the monthly payroll.
Collaboration and Reporting

In this role, you will work closely with the Finance Director to ensure compliance with company governance and audit requirements. You will also be tasked with providing insightful business reporting and analysis that aligns with the organization's objectives.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A recognized accounting qualification (ACA / CIMA / ACCA or equivalent).
  • Experience in the industry, particularly within the TV, film, or creative sectors.
  • A willingness to engage in a diverse finance role.
