About the RoleThis role involves playing a key part in the company's national operation, with an industry competitive salary of £45,000 to £55,000 per annum depending on experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing monthly management accounts, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare monthly management accounts, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies and provide detailed explanations.
- Analyse manufacturing costs and provide insights to improve cost efficiency.
- Support the preparation of year-end accounts and liaise with external auditors.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
- Collaborate with various departments, including production and supply chain, to gather financial data and provide financial guidance.
- Assist with ad-hoc financial projects and initiatives as required.
- Preferably, fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA), although qualified by experience, will be considered.
- Solid background in management accounting, ideally in the construction industry.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
- Familiarity with MS Office Suite and financial software.
