Job Title: Care Manager

Voyage Care Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Care Manager to join our team in Doncaster. As a Care Manager, you will be responsible for leading our residential service and ensuring that individuals with autism, acquired brain injury, complex mental health needs, traumatic backgrounds, and challenging behaviors receive high-quality care and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day running of the service, including developing and implementing person-centered support plans, conducting care needs assessments, recruiting and inducting new colleagues, and completing supervisions and appraisals.
  • Ensure regulatory, legislative, internal, and contractual requirements are met, including relevant notifications and adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Lead a team to ensure that individuals gain more independence in their daily lives and have positive outcomes.
  • Collaborate with local authorities, healthcare professionals, and families to ensure that individuals receive comprehensive care and support.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a CQC registered manager and a Level 5 in Health & Social Care.
  • Experience working with individuals with autism, acquired brain injury, complex mental health needs, traumatic backgrounds, and challenging behaviors.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, individuals, and families.
