Market Development Manager

Join Trade Ready as a Market Development Manager and play a pivotal role in advancing our market presence in the HVAC industry. As a key member of our team, you will identify industry needs and develop strategies to effectively position our company for growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify market size, growth potential, customer segments, and competitive dynamics.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to expand our customer base and increase revenue.
  • Build relationships with HVAC industry stakeholders, including manufacturers, associations, and publications.
  • Lead the development of training content for sales teams, enhancing their understanding of HVAC industry trends and customer needs.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Business, Marketing, HVAC, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in market development, business development, or sales (within the HVAC industry preferred).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct market research, interpret data, and develop strategic recommendations.
  • Excellent communication, relationship management, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic plans, manage large accounts, and drive business growth.
  • Organized, proactive, and passionate about customer relations and enhancing the customer experience.
  • Familiarity with HVAC industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory environments.
  • Proficiency in both English and French is an asset, particularly for engagements in Quebec and Atlantic regions.
