We are seeking a skilled Refrigeration Service Engineer to become part of a well-established national business in the refrigeration and air conditioning sector. With over 30 years of experience and an impressive annual turnover exceeding £10 million, our client employs around 140 professionals, including 100 dedicated engineers.

Role Overview:

As a Refrigeration Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing a diverse range of refrigeration and air conditioning equipment, with a primary focus on refrigeration (approximately 80%). Your expertise will cover:

  • Split systems
  • VRV systems
  • Walk-in chillers and freezers
  • Commercial refrigeration units
  • Cellar cooling systems
  • Ice machines

Compensation:

The starting salary for this position is £40,000 per annum, with opportunities for regular overtime that can increase your earnings by an additional £1,000 to £2,000+ each month.

On-Call Duties:

This role includes participation in an on-call rota, requiring availability one night a week and one in every four weeks.

Territory:

You will be covering a designated area, primarily focused on the London region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Visiting customer locations, primarily in the hospitality sector, including pubs and restaurants.
  • Engaging with clients to provide exceptional service.

Candidate Requirements:

  • F-Gas certification and NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds in Refrigeration.
  • A valid driving license.
  • Proven experience as a Field or Service Engineer in refrigeration or air conditioning.
